LabKern is a Chinese laboratory furniture manufacturer. We design, build, pack and help install — one team from the first drawing to the last cabinet on the wall.
LabKern has worked in a single category since 2004: custom laboratory furniture. We never spread into office fit-out, kitchen cabinets or general steel work — every drawing, jig and finish we have developed belongs to a laboratory.
What a buyer actually gets is focus: one product family, done properly. A teaching bench, a walk-in hood for a digestion room and a cabinet that passes fire officer inspection are three different engineering problems, and we have solved each of them across hundreds of projects.
Most of our output now leaves China. That changes what a factory has to be good at: drawings a foreign engineer can read, packing that survives a container, labels that match the rooms on site, and someone who answers email in your time zone.

Cutting, forming, welding, coating and assembly are all done in-house. That is how we meet a deadline rather than pass a delay down the chain.
CNC panel cutting and press-brake forming for steel frames, doors and carcasses.
Welded frames, ground and pre-treated, then epoxy powder coated in any RAL colour.
Dry-fit assembly, dimension checks and a photo report before anything is crated.
Real photographs from our floor — not renders. The same team that builds the bench packs it.

Our factory is in Zhongluotan, in the north of Baiyun District, Guangzhou — inside the Pearl River Delta, one of the densest manufacturing regions in the world for steel, panels, hardware and coating, which is exactly what laboratory furniture is made of.
Guangzhou is also one of China's main export gateways, so the port, the hardware markets and the coating suppliers our work depends on are all in reach of the same floor. A project can be quoted, built and loaded without a middleman in between.
Buyers are welcome to come and see the plant before placing an order — you can see where the factory is and what a visit covers.

Visits are welcome; tell us the dates and we will arrange pickup from Guangzhou. If a visit is not practical, a video walkthrough of the line works too.
