Who we are

LabKern is a manufacturer and exporter of custom laboratory furniture, based at Zhongluotan, Baiyun District, Guangzhou, Guangdong, China. For anything in this policy, write to diegolee@labkern.com.

What we collect

Only two things:

• What you type into the inquiry form — your name, company, email address, country, product interest, quantity and the project description. Nothing else is required, and nothing is collected before you press Send.
• Standard server logs — IP address, browser type, the page requested and the time. Our hosting provider records these automatically to keep the site online and to block abuse.

What we do not collect

This website sets no cookies. It runs no advertising trackers, no social pixels and no third-party analytics scripts. There is no newsletter, no account system and no payment processing on this site, so we never hold card or password data. Embedded third-party content such as maps or videos is not loaded automatically — if a page ever links out to Google Maps or WhatsApp, that service only sees you after you click.

Why we use it

• To answer your inquiry and prepare a quotation
• To keep a record of the commercial conversation, so a colleague can pick it up if your contact is away
• To keep the site running and to stop spam submissions

We do not use your details for advertising, and we do not build profiles.

Legal basis

We process inquiry data on the basis of our legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries you initiate, and — where local law requires it — on the basis of your consent, which you give by submitting the form. You can withdraw it at any time by writing to us.

Who can see it

Our own sales team, and the hosting and email providers that carry the message. They act on our instructions and do not use the data for their own purposes. We do not sell, rent or trade your details to anyone, and we do not add you to a mailing list.

How long we keep it

Inquiry records are kept for up to three years after the last contact, so that a project which goes quiet can be picked up again. Ask us to delete them sooner and we will, unless we are required to retain an invoice or contract record by law.

Your rights

You can ask us for a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Write to diegolee@labkern.com and we will respond within 30 days. If you are in the EU or UK and think we have handled your data badly, you also have the right to complain to your national data protection authority.

Where the data is stored

Our website and mailbox are hosted on servers outside China, so your inquiry may be transferred to and stored in another country. We keep the transfer limited to what is needed to answer you.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date at the top of the page changes with it. Material changes will be noted on this page rather than announced by email.
