Bench-top, floor-mounted and ductless hoods from 1000 to 1800 mm wide, with the liner, sash and blower matched to your chemicals.
A fume hood is a safety device first and a piece of furniture second. We match the liner, sash and airflow to what you handle, and we ship the blower, duct and control panel together so nothing is missing on site.
These are our standard values. Anything here can be changed to suit your drawings or local code. Every hood sits over a bench, and the chemicals it extracts are stored in ventilated cabinets — we build all three to match.
| Standard widths | 1000, 1200, 1500 and 1800 mm; custom widths to your layout |
|---|---|
| Working height | Sash opening 500 to 750 mm; interior height 1200 mm on floor models |
| Liner | PP for strong acids; phenolic for general use; stainless 316 for cleanrooms |
| Sash | 6 mm tempered glass, counterweight balanced, 3-position stop |
| Airflow | Designed for 0.5 m/s (100 fpm) face velocity at working sash height |
| Blower | PP centrifugal, direct drive, 220/380 V; VFD optional |
| Controls | Switch panel standard; LCD airflow monitor optional |
| Services | Gas, water, vacuum and power outlets fitted inside the working area |
Ductless only suits low-volume, low-hazard work where a duct route is impossible, and filters must be changed on schedule. For acids, solvents in volume, or perchloric work, specify ducted. Tell us the chemicals and we will say which one is safe.
We supply the hood, blower, flexible duct and fittings as a package, sized to the hood. Rigid duct runs are normally built locally to our drawing, which keeps freight cost down.
We can arrange face-velocity and containment testing before shipment and supply the report. On-site certification to EN 14175 or ASHRAE 110 is carried out by a local certifier after installation.
Send the room plan and the work done at the bench. You get back a hood schedule with sash width, liner, airflow and a factory-direct price.
